Level of compliance with international aviation standards in Kazakhstan is higher than in Russia

Astana. November 20. KazTAG - The level of compliance with international aviation standards in Kazakhstan is higher than in Russia.
"Air carriers are guided by strict and unwavering compliance with international standards and rules in terms of ensuring the airworthiness and technical condition of aircraft established by the International Civil Aviation Organization ICAO (mandatory for 193 countries, including Kazakhstan). Thus, the level of compliance of Kazakhstan with ICAO standards and recommended practices is 82%," Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov responded to a parliamentary inquiry.
In Russia, this level is 69%, in Azerbaijan - 79%, a similar level is in Poland - 82%, in Denmark - 84%, in Germany and Great Britain 93.3% and 93.9%, respectively.
Senate deputy Andrey Lukin noted that the main problems of airline flight delays are technical damage, weather conditions, and the fault of either airport employees or the airport.
He proposed to strictly monitor the technical condition of aircraft and to conduct regular maintenance checks.
