Aktau. November 20. KazTAG - Of the 1,700 OzenMunayGas (OMG) workers who came out with demands, 281 workers are still on strike.
"KazMunayGas is closely monitoring the situation in Zhanaozen and has previously provided detailed explanations for each demand of the employees of the drilling operations department of the production and structural division of the company "OzenMunayGas". In the first days, 1.7 thousand people participated in the unauthorized action. But after explanatory talks, most of the workers returned to their workplaces. By this time, 281 workers refuse to go to work, putting forward demands based on false information," report the press service of JSC National Company (NC) "KazMunayGas" (KMG).
According to the information, since 2021 and based on the results of 10 months of the current year, 1978 people have been hired by OzenMunayGas, including 199 people in the drilling operations department.
"In general, the company has created good conditions, where the amount of social support per employee is one of the highest in the region. The current collective agreement of Ozenmunaigas was concluded on April 25 between OMG and three trade unions. This year, the amount of social support was increased by about T9 billion. Also, the salaries of OMG employees are indexed annually. In 2022, employee salaries were increased by 30%, in 2023 by 9.5%, this year by 8%," KMG noted.
