“By the ruling of the Konayev city court dated July 26, 2024, M. Tokmadi’s request for parole has been granted,” said the press service of the Almaty region court.
On December 19, 2004, the famous Kazakhstani banker Yerzhan Tatishev was murdered. Businessman Murakhan Tokmadi was sentenced to 10.5 years in prison in this case. He was recognized as the perpetrator of the crime, and the customer is believed to be the banker Mukhtar Ablyazov, who is hiding in France.
