Kazakhstani para-athlete takes second place in international cycling race in France

Astana. September 17. KazTAG – Dastan Ordabay won a silver medal in the Virtus Cycling Open Time Trial cycling race among athletes with autism, covering a distance of 17.3 km in France, reports the press service of the Astana city administration.
“A cycling race among athletes with autism was held in France. About 100 cyclists from all over the world took part in the competition. Sixteen para-athletes took part in the para cycling discipline within the Virtus Cycling Open Time Trial, including Astana resident Dastan Ordabay. (…) The candidate for master of sports came in second to the finish line, taking second place,” said the statement.
Dastan Ordabay took part in the category іі-3 (autism spectrum disorder).
Dastan and his team are preparing for the tournament in Australia in 2025.
