Average prices for socially important food products increased by 1.9% in Kazakhstan

Astana. February 7. KazTAG – Prices in Kazakhstan for socially important food products increased by 1.9% in January 2025, and by 3.1% in 2024, reports the statistics agency.
The average prices for potatoes increased the most in January to February 4 – by 17.8% to T225/kg. In second place in terms of average price growth is cabbage, by 8.2% to T162/kg, in third place is sunflower oil, by 4.4% to T764/l, in fourth place is beef, by 2.7% to T2652, in fifth place is unsalted butter, kefir and carrots, by 1.4% to T4480, T445 and T158, respectively.
