"About 400 thousand units of counterfeit products were seized from illegal circulation in 2024," reads the report.
The official representative of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan Talgat Uali noted that the total amount of seized counterfeit products amounted to T150 million.
"Based on the results of 2024, territorial justice bodies conducted 338 inspections. As a result, 297 violations were identified. Under Article 158 of the Code of Administrative Offences (illegal use of someone else’s trademark), 283 cases were opened, and 267 persons were brought to administrative responsibility,” he said at a press conference at the Central Communications Service.
