“Today, the situation at the Syrym checkpoint is stable. On December 13, 2018, after lunch, Russia opened the highways and began accepting them,” said the press service of the State Revenue Committee responded to the editorial office of KazTAG.
There are 200 vehicles from Kazakhstan to Russia, and 50 from Russia to Kazakhstan. The day before, the State Revenue Committee reported that about 450-500 vehicles had accumulated at the Syrym checkpoint.
There was heavy snowfall, blizzards, ice and temporary restrictions on federal highways in the Russian Federation in the West Kazakhstan and Samara regions.
