Tokayev discussed cooperation between Kazakhstan and International Olympic Committee

Astana. December 18. KazTAG – President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting with Keith McConnell,  Sports Director of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the parties discussed the interaction of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Kazakhstan with the IOC, reports Akorda.
"Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received the Sports Director of the International Olympic Committee Keith McConnell. The meeting discussed the prospects for cooperation between the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan and the IOC," said the statement.
The head of state noted the significant role of the International Olympic Committee in promoting Olympic values and supporting athletes around the world.
In turn, Keith McConnell highly appreciated the contribution of Kazakhstani athletes to the popularization of the Olympic movement and expressed hope for new successes for the Kazakhstan team at the upcoming international competitions.
