Number of consumer complaints in Kazakhstan exceeded 56 thousand within a year

Astana. December 18. KazTAG – The number of complaints from consumers continues to grow in Kazakhstan: in the first 11 months of 2024, their number exceeded 56 thousand, said the Central Communications Service under the President of  Kazakhstan.
“According to the acting chairman of the consumer rights protection committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bulat Tanabergenov, in 2023, the number of complaints from consumers reached 50 thousand, in the first 11 months of this year, this figure exceeded 56 thousand,”reads  the report.
According to Bulat Tanabergenov, industry government agencies and local executive bodies have also recorded an increase in such appeals. In just nine months of this year, more than 115 thousand complaints were received. A similar situation is observed in public associations of consumers.
