Production at Kashagan decreased to less than 93%

Astana. December 18. KazTAG - Kazakhstan's oil production at Kashagan decreased in January-November 2024 to 15.8 million tons, or 92.8%, at Tengiz - 25.9 million tons, or 97.9%, compared to January-November 2023, said Almasadam Satkaliyev, Kazakh Energy Minister.
"The volume of oil production at Kashagan in January-November 2024 amounted to 15.8 million tons, or 92.8%, at Tengiz - 25.9 million tons, or 97.9%, compared to the same period in 2023," said  Satkaliyev in his report at a meeting of the government of Kazakhstan.
According to him, 11.1 million tons were produced at Karachaganak, or 100.9% compared to the same period in 2023.
"During this period, the volume of oil and condensate production amounted to 80.5 million tons, or 98% compared to the same period last year," Satkaliyev said.
Oil production by the end of 2024 will amount to 87.8 million tons, the minister predicts.
According to him, oil exports decreased to 63.2 million tons, or 98.3% compared to the same period in 2023.
