“The construction of the seventh boiler is nearing completion, which will additionally provide 70 Gcal of heat capacity for the new part of the city. There is a heat deficit in the new part of the city, while there is a surplus in the old part. Therefore, part of the city will receive additional capacity. Commissioning work is underway, and it is expected to be launched in January-February. This boiler will be connected in the next heating season,” said Azamat Taizhanov, First Deputy Akim of the Karaganda Region.
The public of Temirtau had expressed concern that the construction of the boiler at TPP-2 is being delayed, while the city continues to experience serious problems with heat supply.
