"Last year, domestic airlines carried 14.3 million passengers (9% more than in 2023). The number of passengers served at Kazakhstan airports amounted to 29.7 million people (14% more than in 2023), " reads the message from a meeting at the Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan on passenger services, baggage and cargo handling.
The session also covered the issue of airports preparing for the audit under the ICAO Universal Aviation Security Audit Programme in terms of facilitation of formalities, including the submission of updated programmes and final minutes of meetings on facilitation of formalities for 2024.
