Cocaine and other drugs worth T100 million seized in Astana

Astana. March 5. KazTAG – More than 600 grams of cocaine, over 130 grams of cannabis resin and over 30 grams of cannabis oil were seized in one of the apartments in Astana, the total value of which on the black market is T100 million, reports the official Internet resource of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
“During a search of the suspect’s  apartment, large quantities of drugs and equipment for their sale were found. As a result of operational activities, more than 600 grams of cocaine, over 130 grams of cannabis resin and over 30 grams of cannabis oil were seized. The total value of the drugs on the black market is more than T100 million,” reads the report.
The suspect, a 24-year-old man, was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
