In any case, they (farmers – KazTAG) will buy fuel, seeds, fertilizers, and they all come with VAT, so there are questions. I will not say that vegetables will become cheaper because of this benefit, but they will most likely remain at the same level. But it depends on the technology,” Saparov said.
In his words, there are 300 thousand farms in Kazakhstan, of which only 18 thousand are legal entities for which tax breaks are planned, the rest are peasant and farming enterprises that have already been exempted from paying VAT.
