“For the construction of the visitor center in the Tuyuk-Su tract, the subsidiary of JSC SPK Almaty – Almaty Finance Ltd allocated T380 million to Askar Development Ltd under the regional entrepreneurship development program Almaty Business-2025. The annual effective interest rate on the loan will be 6%, the financing period is five years," said the statement.
According to the information, in exchange for preferential financing, Askar Development will be required to maintain cleanliness on the territory of the complex, implement a waste management system, install information panels with route descriptions, and create an emergency communication zone.
Also, the visitor center is planned to be equipped with a guest house, a cafe, a pharmacy, a store for buying and renting equipment, souvenirs, and a recreation area for different events. The center will be required to provide a transfer of tourists by electric car to Medeu and back, rent ATVs and bicycles, group excursions in the surrounding area, individual tours with a guide, lectures, and master classes.
