"At the Belgrade airport, the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev was met by the President of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic," reads the statement.
In the airspace of Serbia, the plane of the head of Kazakhstan was accompanied by fighters of the air force of the host country.
The central point of the visit program will be high-level negotiations. The presidents will discuss the prospects for cooperation between the two states in the political, trade and economic, transport and logistics, and cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Following the negotiations, a number of bilateral agreements are expected to be signed.
