Tariffs for pipeline transportation in Kazakhstan increased by almost 3%

Astana. October 22. KazTAG – Tariffs for pipeline transportation in Kazakhstan increased by 2.9%, reports the statistics agency.
“Over the first nine months of this year, tariffs for pipeline transportation increased by 2.9% compared to the same period last year (January-September 2024 compared to January-September 2023), ” reads the report.
The tariffs for crude oil transportation increased by 5.6%. A 1.4% increase in the cost of natural gas transportation was also recorded.
It is reported that in January-September 2024, the pipeline transported 220.1 million tons of cargo (7.3% more than in January-September 2023), cargo turnover amounted to 112 billion ton-km (increased by 4% compared to January-September 2023).
