France is interested in supplying Kazakh horse meat

Astana. October 22. KazTAG — France is interested in supplying Kazakh horse meat, said the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
“As part of the Livestock Summit held in early October in France, an agreement on cooperation in organizing horse meat supplies was signed between the companies Kaiyp Ata and Pegase BVS. Today, peasant and farming enterprises are showing interest in exporting horse meat to France,” reads the report.
According to the data, the turnover of agricultural products between the countries for the first eight months of 2024 amounted to $67 million, including exports from Kazakhstan to France increased almost sixfold due to an increase in the export of rapeseed.
