Second train collision within less than a week occurred in Kazakhstan

Zhezkazgan. October 16. KazTAG – The second train collision within less than a week occurred in Kazakhstan.
“On October 15 at 10:10, a private diesel locomotive and a private locomotive collided on private tracks near the Sarysu siding. As a result, five empty gondola cars and a diesel locomotive overturned. Private locomotive crews received moderate injuries. The incident did not affect the movement of other trains or the operation of the mainline network,” said the press service of JSC NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy (KTZ).
The collision occurred 65 km from Zhezkazgan on the railway tracks of Kazakhmys Ltd. The editorial board of KazTAG has already contacted the company's press service for comments.
