“It allows tracking the use of budget money at all stages — from allocation to full development. Each tenge receives a unique digital tag, which eliminates the possibility of theft and contributes to the rational use of the budget,” the report says.
It is reported that this mechanism is being implemented on the “digital tenge” platform and is an important tool for ensuring transparency and minimizing corruption risks when spending funds.
To date, the implementation of projects has begun in such sectors as agriculture, construction of roads and railways.
“In the construction sector, this mechanism is used in the Mukur-Kulsary road section project in the Atyrau region worth T2.1 billion and in the Dostyk-Moiynty railway section in the Karaganda region worth more than T160 billion,” the statement said.
