Price index for socially important food products fell by 0.1% within a week

Astana. October 11. KazTAG - The price index for socially important food products fell by 0.1% over the past week, reports the statistics agency.
"The price index for SIFP fell by 0.1% over the past week, and by 0.2% year-on-year. There has been a significant decrease in prices for potatoes, onions and carrots," reads the message.
The average prices for some goods as of October 8, 2024 were as follows: milk (2.5%) - T399/l, sugar - T408/kg, cottage cheese - T2128/kg.
The average prices for salt increased over the week of September 24 - October 1, 2024 to T68/kg, for eggs - to T529/dozen.
