More than 804 thousand people found jobs in 2024 in Kazakhstan

Astana. November 26. KazTAG – President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev received Svetlana Zhakupova , Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, who noted that more than 804 thousand people found jobs in 2024, including 200 thousand young people, reports Akorda.
“In 2024, more than 804 thousand people were employed, including more than 200 thousand young people,” reads the report.
Also, almost 9 thousand citizens, including people with disabilities and parents of children with special needs, received grants for the implementation of business ideas.
Zhakupova spoke about social support measures, including the modernization of approaches to targeted social assistance and the introduction of licensing of Social Services Centers from 2025, as well as about the innovative project navigator for investment management launched in Kazakhstan. The system already monitors 755 projects worth T33 trillion and excludes unscrupulous contractors. It is also planned to create up to 150 thousand jobs.
President Tokayev instructed to strengthen measures to develop social policy and improve the efficiency of work in the social and labor sphere.
