“Based on the results of laboratory tests, the diagnosis of cutaneous anthrax in one slaughterhouse worker has been confirmed. The patient has been hospitalized and is undergoing treatment in accordance with the approved medical protocol. His condition is stable. The rest have not shown any signs of contact with the disease,” reads the report.
On November 20, 2024, quarantine was introduced on the territory of the slaughterhouse of the Asyl-Agro farm. At the same time, it is noted that 17 people who had contact with the dead animal were identified. They have been examined by infectious disease specialists and are under dynamic medical supervision.
