Militaries of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan conducting joint exercises in Uzbekistan

Astana. October 4. KazTAG – Joint tactical exercises “Khamkorlik-2024” aimed at ensuring the military security of the Central Asian states have started in Uzbekistan at the “Forish” training ground in the Jizzakh region, said the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan.
“A ceremonial opening of the joint tactical exercise “Khamkorlik-2024” dedicated to ensuring the military security of the Central Asian states was held at the “Forish” training ground in the Jizzakh region,” the department reported.
The exercises are led by the commander of the Central Military District of Uzbekistan, Colonel Farrukh Ziyabayev. Officers and servicemen from Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan are exercising in the training.
