Almost T2.5 trillion allocated for pensions from budget since January in Kazakhstan

Astana. September 16. KazTAG – Since the beginning of 2024, almost T2.5 trillion has been paid to pensioners in Kazakhstan from the republican budget, said the press service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
“Since the beginning of the year, pensions in the amount of T2 trillion 488.6 billion have been paid from the republican budget, of which T783.6 billion was allocated for the payment of the basic pension, T1 trillion 705 billion for the solidarity pension,” the report said on Monday.
As of September 1, there were 2.4 million pensioners in the country. The average size of the total pension is T131,872, of which the solidarity pension is T89,275 and the basic pension is T42,597.
