Kazakhstan's IT exports to grow to $700 million in a year

Astana. January 21. KazTAG -  IT exports will amount to about $700 million in 2024,, predicts Zhaslan Madiyev, Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of Kazakhstan.
"In the first 9 months of 2024, IT exports  amounted to $471 million. This is 26% more than in the same period in 2023. According to our forecasts, by the end of 2024, this figure will be about $700 million," Madiyev said at a government meeting.
The goal is to reach $1 billion in 2026.
Astana Hub plays a key role in promoting Kazakhstan's IT exports. The number of its residents has exceeded 1.5 thousand companies, including 400 international ones.
