18 workers died at construction sites in Kazakhstan in January-September

Almaty. October 11. KazTAG –During the first nine months of 2024, 18 workers died at construction sites in Kazakhstan, 64 were injured, said the Ministry of Labor and Social Employment of the Population.
“During the first nine months (of 2024 – KazTAG), 64 workers were injured at construction sites, including 18 who died,” reads the message.
149 workers were injured in 2023, 46 of whom died.
A high level of injuries in the construction industry is observed in Astana, West Kazakhstan and East Kazakhstan regions.
