New airports will be built in three resort zones in 2025

Astana. January 9. KazTAG — New airports are planned to be built in the resort areas of Katon-Karagay, Zaysan and Kendirli in Kazakhstan in 2025, reports the press service of the Prime Minister.
“The implementation of the most important infrastructure projects in the field of aviation has begun in Kazakhstan. In accordance with the instructions of the head of state, new airports will be built in the resort areas of Katon-Karagay, Zaysan and Kendirli in 2025. Work is underway to formalize land plots and design these facilities,” reads the report.
It is reported that a project to improve transport infrastructure will be implemented in Kazakhstan by 2030. The total length of new roads will be 4.7 thousand km, of which 3.7 thousand km are Category I roads.
