Anti-corruption agency and World Bank delegates considered use of AI to combat corruption

Astana. March 7. KazTAG - Askhat Zhumagali , Chairman of the Anti-Corruption Agency, with the head of the World Bank's global management practice in Europe and Central Asia Adrian Fozzard and the World Bank Resident Representative in Kazakhstan Andrey Mekhnev considered the use of artificial intelligence in the field of combating corruption.
"The parties discussed the issues of developing a methodology for analyzing country and industry corruption risks, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in the field of combating corruption,” reads the report.
"The parties paid special attention to the prospects for cooperation in the field of analytical research and the introduction of modern tools for preventing corruption," said the report.
The parties agreed to develop joint initiatives aimed at increasing the effectiveness of Kazakhstan's anti-corruption policy in the long term.
