“By decree of the head of state, Zhanat Elimanov has been appointed as chairman of the agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for financial monitoring, he has been relieved of his previous position,” said the statement .
Elimanov had headed the AFM from January 2021 to February 2024, and from February he worked as first deputy of the national security committee.
