President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and International Women's Grandmaster Dinara Saduakasova shared their views on the development of chess in the country. The famous chess player told the head of state about the ongoing work to increase the popularity of chess and plans for the future. According to the grandmaster, master classes and qualifying tournaments among children are regularly held,” said the statement.
The President congratulated Saduakasova on winning the silver medal at the World Chess Championship in Almaty last year. He also said that chess players will be provided with comprehensive support from the state.
