“On the sidelines of the first Central Asia + Gulf Cooperation Council Summit, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmed al-Jaber Al-Sabah,” reads the report.
The parties discussed the prospects for the development of Kazakh-Kuwaiti cooperation in the trade, economic and investment spheres.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev outlined the importance of strengthening ties with Kuwait. According to him, Kazakhstan is interested in further development of relations between the two countries and is ready to enhance cooperation in all priority areas.
Crown Prince Meshal al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah, expressing readiness to further strengthen friendly and mutually beneficial relations between Astana and Kuwait, emphasized the huge potential for the development of trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian, and tourism cooperation.
