Soldiers from Tokayev's security arrived to help rescuers fight floods

Astana. April 12. KazTAG - Employees of the State Security Service arrived to help rescuers fight floods, reports the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
“Employees of the Civil Defense of Kazakhstan are helping rescuers in eliminating the consequences of floods. At these moments, in the village of Zhibek Zholy, Akmola region, a group of forces of the Civil Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan is conducting emergency rescue operations. The employees are strengthening the bank of the embankment dam near the settlement and providing medical assistance to local residents affected by the floods,” the statement said on Friday.
The CDK is a special state body directly subordinate and accountable to the president, belonging to the national security forces, carrying out security measures within the competence established by law to ensure the safety of the president, as well as other protected persons and objects.
