Verny Capital sold Burger King Kazakhstan franchise

Astana. March 13. KazTAG – Verny Capital Group of Companies sold the exclusive Burger King Kazakhstan franchise, which it had owned jointly with Anuar Utemuratov from 2012, reports the press service of the group of companies.
“Verny Capital Group announced the sale of the exclusive Burger King Kazakhstan franchise, which the group had owned jointly with its partner Anuar Utemuratov from 2012,” reads the statement.
According to the data, over 12 years of operation, the chain has grown to 55 restaurants in 14 cities of the country, about T7.5 billion was transferred to the budget, and more than 1.1 thousand jobs were created.
The new owner of the franchise is Holten Group, an investment company developing projects in Central Asia.
