Aktau. March 7. KazTAG - The final report on the air crash near Aktau is planned to be published by the end of 2025, reports the press service of the Prime Minister.
"The final report on the investigation of the air crash in Aktau will be published by the end of this year in accordance with the Chicago Convention," reads the report.
Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev held a meeting with the Director of the European and North Atlantic Bureau of ICAO Nicolas Rallo. Bozumbayev expressed gratitude to ICAO for its ongoing support on cooperation with Kazakhstan and thanked for the timely dispatch of independent expert Thormodur Thormodsson to the site of the Azerbaijan Airlines crash.
"On behalf of the government, I would like to express to you personally our sincere gratitude for the ongoing support provided to us, including support for our initiatives. In order to fully complete this investigation, we will continue to interact with ICAO," Bozumbayev said.
It is noted that in turn, Nicolas Rallo highly appreciated the preliminary report on the investigation into the crash of the Azerbaijan Airlines plane, conducted and published by Kazakhstan in a short time.
