“The launch of Euronews is an important event for the information sphere of Kazakhstan,” said Aida Balayeva , Minister of Culture and Information.
As part of the cooperation, Euronews acted as an information partner of the World Nomad Games, which took place in September 2024 in Astana. According to data, the broadcast reached more than 39 million people around the world.
It is also indicated that 10 programs, broadcasts and interviews dedicated to investment projects and the cultural heritage of the Kazakh people have already been published.
"The key element of cooperation is the implementation of the Euronews Academy project, which involves conducting training sessions and master classes to improve the qualifications of employees of domestic TV channels, which will have a positive impact on the professional skills of representatives of the Kazakhstani media," reads the statement.
Work is currently underway to create 20 projects. Among them are a show about culture, art and lifestyle - Modern Nomads, a regional show about business and economics - East-West Connect and interviews with regional personalities - Voices from Central Asia.
