CSTO made statement for case of arrival of military contingents of European countries into Ukraine

Astana. March 7. KazTAG — The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) has made a statement in the event of entry of military contingents of European countries into Ukraine.
"If military contingents of European countries arrive in Ukraine, new security risks will inevitably arise in the region. This cannot but worry individual member states of the organization, and the organization itself as well. The organization is ready to offer various options for assistance to the country that asks for such assistance. Only in full compliance with the statutory documents of the CSTO and in accordance with the decisions of the CSTO Collective Security Council," said the CSTO.
The possibility of introducing military contingents of the European Union into Ukraine was discussed against the backdrop of a sharp deterioration in relations between Kiev and Washington, as well as statements by a number of European leaders about the need to ensure Ukraine's security without regard for the United States.
