“I consider it necessary to make several statements regarding the events in the Talgar case. Our representatives did not ask the police to detain Karzhaubay, as the police said. The relatives did not give consent to the publication of the personal correspondence of the deceased Nurkanat. We consider the court ruling, which sentenced Karzhaubay to 15 days of arrest, to be illegal (the court committed gross violations) and appealed it in the appellate procedure. Today, the police launched a pre-trial investigation against Karzhaubai Nurymov under Article 202 (Intentional destruction or damage to someone else's property) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan," Kaimakov wrote on his social media page on Thursday.
