50 illegal migrants deported from Almaty

Almaty. October 18. KazTAG – 50 citizens of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan who violated Kazakhstan’s migration legislation have been deported from Almaty, reports the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reports.
“50 illegal migrants have been deported from Almaty, including citizens of Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan. These individuals arrived in Kazakhstan in gross violation of migration legislation,” reads the report.
The head of the Almaty Migration Service, Askhat Butunchinov, reported that since the start of Operation Illegal, 1,185 violators of migration legislation have been brought to administrative responsibility. Of these, 225 people have been deported from the country, and 935 people have been brought to responsibility for violating the rules of stay in the country.
“In addition, 202 individuals have been fined for failing to ensure the legality of the stay of foreign citizens on the territory of Kazakhstan.  48 employers were also held accountable for violations in the sphere of attracting foreign labor,” said Askhat Butunchinov.
