Almaty attracted T1.1 trillion in fixed capital investments in January-September - Dosayev

Almaty. October 18. KazTAG - Almaty has attracted T1.1 trillion in fixed capital investments in the first 9 months of 2024, said Yerbolat Dosayev , Almaty Mayor.
"Based on the results of the first 9 months of 2024, Almaty has attracted T1.1 trillion in fixed capital investments with an increase of 8.1%. Since the beginning of 2024, local budget revenues have increased by 27.2% (...). Since the beginning of 2024, Almaty's budget has been increased by T204.5 billion to T1.8 trillion," Dosayev said at a meeting with residents of the Turksib district.
According to him, investments in fixed assets in the Turksib district increased by 21% over 9 months, including private ones - by 27%, to T150 billion.
"The number of active business entities in the district increased by 7.8% and today more than 29 thousand entities work in the district, which made it possible to increase tax revenues to T164 billion, as well as create 3.5 thousand new permanent jobs," Dosayev said.
The district budget in 2024 has been increased 4 times compared to 2023, to T21.3 billion at the beginning of 2024. In June, the district budget increased by another 9% to T23.5 billion, which made it possible to modernize engineering and road infrastructure, improve public spaces.
