Two Amur tigers from Netherlands were brought to the Ile-Balkhash Reserve

Taldykorgan. September 23. KazTAG - A female and a male Amur tiger were brought to the Ile-Balkhash Reserve from the Netherlands, reports Vechernyaya Karaganda.
"Two tigers were brought to the Balkhash region," the report said on Monday.
The tigers were brought to restore the population of Turan tigers in Kazakhstan.
The memorandum was signed on the return of tigers to Kazakhstanon July 16. On July 17, it was reported that two Amur tigers from the Netherlands are planned to be brought as part of a program to restore the population of rare predators in Kazakhstan.
