"The work on erecting the supports is 100% complete," said the City Transportation Systems.
2.5 thousand people erected 799 supports that will support the 22-kilometer elevated track of the LRT train.

The width of the lower part of the support is 2-2.4 meters, the upper part is 6.8 meters, the height varies from 5 to 18 meters depending on the relief of the route, the average weight of one support is 200 tons,” said the company.
Construction began in 2011, according to the plan, it was supposed to be built in 2020, but the deadlines changed, and then the project was frozen due to corruption. In 2023, after Tokayev’s order, construction was resumed. According to plans, LRT is promised to be finally put into operation in 2026.
