Turkey wrote off $59 million of Kyrgyzstan's foreign debt

Astana. November 5. KazTAG – Turkey has written off $58.9 million of Kyrgyzstan's foreign debt.
“I would like to take this opportunity to express special gratitude to President Erdogan for the decision to write off the foreign debt of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Turkey,” said President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov in his statement.
On November 5, negotiations were held between Japarov and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Bishkek. 24.kg writes that Turkey wrote off $58.9 million of Kyrgyzstan's foreign debt in exchange for green economy projects.
