Agreements worth $2.5 billion signed following Olzhas Bektenov's trip to Shanghai

Astana. November 5. KazTAG – Agreements worth $2.5 billion were signed following the visit of Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov to Shanghai.
“As part of his working visit to the People's Republic of China, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov took part in the Kazakh-Chinese investment roundtable with business representatives. Negotiations with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang will be held in Shanghai, he will also take part  in the 7th China International Import Expo (…) Following the meeting, eight commercial agreements worth a total of $2.5 billion were signed,” the reads report.
The main goal of the working visit is to implement the agreements reached between Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Chinese President Xi Jinping to double the volume of bilateral trade from last year's all-time high of $41 billion.
