Astana. November 18. KazTAG – Perizat Kairat is accused of stealing T200 million collected to help the residents of Palestine, reports the press service of the financial monitoring agency.
“Another episode of her illegal activity has been revealed. Thus, in November 2023, Perizat Kairat organized a fundraiser to provide humanitarian aid to the residents of Palestine,” reads the report.
In December 2023, Kairat used this money to purchase a three-room apartment in the elite Sensata Plaza complex for T49 million and a new Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 4 Matic for T30 million.
In addition, it is noted that part of the funds were spent in the UAE on the purchase of jewelry, watches and clothing from the branded boutiques of Rolex, Prada and Fendi.
In this case, Kairat is suspected of embezzling over T200 million. The investigation is ongoing.
It was previously reported that Perizat Kairat is accused of embezzling over T1.5 billion collected for flood victims. After that, KazTAG reported that many co-founders of the fund headed by Kairat were from the Amanat party. Then it became known that she was removed from the post of president of the Kazakhstan Para Table Tennis Federation.
