“A telephone conversation took place between Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio,” reads the statement.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of the expanded strategic partnership, paying special attention to strengthening political dialogue and economic ties.
“An exchange of views also took place on a number of key international issues, including global security and regional stability. The heads of the foreign policy agencies agreed to maintain regular contacts to ensure high dynamics of bilateral cooperation,” the Foreign Ministry added.
