Kazakhstani citizen suspected of trying to sell his internal organs for T9 million

Aktobe. September 27. KazTAG – A Kazakhstani citizen is suspected of trying to sell his internal organs for T9 million, said the press service of the Aktobe region prosecutor's office.
“During monitoring of the Internet space, the Aktobe region prosecutor's office received information about a possible illegal transaction for the sale of his internal organs. On September 25, 2024, as part of the operational-search measures initiated by the prosecutor's office, the Organized Crime Control Department detained the man who intended to make an illegal transaction for the sale of his internal organs for a total of T9 million,” the report said.
A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 116 (coercion to remove or illegal removal of human organs and tissues) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
