Kazakhstan stock market has not yet caught up with 2021 in terms of the value of bonds in circulation

Almaty. June 21. KazTAG - The stock market of Kazakhstan has still not caught up with 2021 in terms of the value of bonds in circulation, said the Agency for Regulation and Development of the Financial Market.
“In terms of the value of bonds in circulation, the Kazakhstan stock market has still not caught up with 2021. The value of bonds in circulation was KZT13.8 trillion as of June 1, 2024, and in 2021 it was KZT15.4 trillion,” reads the message.
Thus, in 2021, the value of bonds outstanding was 10% higher.
The capitalization of the Kazakhstan stock market on June 1, 2024 finally caught up with the 2021 indicators and amounted to T30.9 trillion. In 2021 it amounted to T28.8 trillion.
The total assets of professional participants in the securities market of Kazakhstan increased from T505 billion in 2021 to T693 billion as of June 1, 2024, assets in investment management increased from T1 trillion to 1.25 trillion.
