"Our plans for 2025 include 100% of flight safety control. Particular attention will be paid to ornithology and the removal of obstacles on airfield runways. We plan to increase safety indicators to a level of over 90," Radu said at a government meeting.
According to him, it is also planned to pass an ICAO aviation safety audit at a level of over 90%, in accordance with ICAO standards. It is planned to digitalize and implement AI in key processes, including the current information system for effective control over flight safety.
As part of the promotion of the flight safety standard, the administration held several key events with a focus on cargo transportation and air mobility, including the first international forum on air transportation and logistics in Central Asia.
A landmark event in 2024 was the establishment of the Eurasian Civil Aviation Conference (EACAC), headquartered in Kazakhstan, and the first meeting of the aviation authorities of the EACAC member countries. Technical assistance was provided to Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan and other countries.
