Kazakhstan ad US held consultations on minimizing negative impact of anti-Russian sanctions

Astana. March 14. KazTAG - Kazakhstan and the US have held consultations on minimizing the negative impact of anti-Russian sanctions, reports the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.
“With the assistance of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in the United States, Kazakh-American online consultations on sanctions issues were held to minimize the negative impact of US anti-Russian sanctions on the economy of Kazakhstan,” reads the statement.
“The American side informed about the recently imposed US sanctions against Russia and about the features of new sanctions restrictions in the trade, economic, banking, financial and energy sectors. Kazakh participants were provided with clarifications on various areas of cooperation with partners under the sanctions regime. As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue consultations in order to avoid unintended consequences of the US sanctions policy for the Kazakh economy,”  reads the report.
